Our First Manager of the Month: Rinocrosslin10

Congratulations to Rinocrosslin10 for nabbing the Manager of the Month title, edging out Chumdog Millionaire by just 2 points! These two are setting the pace at the top of the table, with a decent gap opening up between them and the chasing pack. Well played, Rinocrosslin10—enjoy the moment…while it lasts!

FPL GW5 Bench Blunders – Some painful ones this week!

It was a tough week for some managers when it came to making the right bench decisions. Hemel Blues, Restored, FC WE WE, Don'tLookBackinAgger, and BasementBattle all left between 15 and 19 points stranded on their benches. Brutal. But the gold medal for bench pain has to go to ColdPalmerInnit. After playing their Wildcard, they managed to leave 28 points sitting on the bench (nearly 50% of the their total outfield points!) Sanchez (10 points), Rogers (10 points), and Colwill (7 points) all contributed to that hefty loss. That's the FPL heartbreak we all know too well!

High Scorers, But No Captaincy Love

This week's top performers, Luis Diaz and Nicolas Jackson, both scored 16 points, and a bunch of managers benefited: 18 of us had Diaz, and 7 had Jackson in their squads. Two teams, Krul & The Gang and Team, managed to field both—but not one of them captained these stars! Missed opportunity for a massive haul? 100%!

Meanwhile, Play of the Week this week goes to Slots Machine had the foresight to hand the captaincy to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who delivered 22 points. Most other managers, like us, stuck with the usual picks of Haaland or Watkins hoping that steady wins the race!

FPL GW5 Shit Stick Award – CK Gunners

And now for the most “coveted” award of the week—the Shit Stick goes to CK Gunners, who could only manage 28 points, with Watkins leading the charge on a mere 6 points. It's a tough one, but we've all been there! Here's hoping next week brings better luck (unless we've got you in the cup!).

As a Group: We’re Still Beating the FPL Average

Even in a relatively low-scoring week, we as a group have managed to beat the overall FPL average once again! Nice work people —keep pumping those points!

Looking Ahead to Gameweek 6 – League Cup Round 2!

Don't forget, Gameweek 6 is the second round of the League Cup. Congrats if you made it through the first round—now it's time to keep the cup dream alive! Whether you're going all-in on differentials or sticking to your Haalands, every point counts. Let's see what you've got in the locker!
