1. Introduction

1.1. Welcome to FPL Pro Leagues (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our services, you agree to comply with ​and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review these terms carefully. If you do not ​agree to these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Eligibility

2.1. By registering for FPL Pro Leagues, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and that you ​have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm ​that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use our services.

2.2. If you are under the age of 18, we may request proof of parental or guardian consent at any time. ​Failure to provide such consent may result in the termination of your account.

3. Registration and Accounts

3.1. To participate in FPL Pro Leagues, you must create an account with us. You are responsible for ​maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password.

3.2. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and to ​update such information as necessary to keep it accurate and complete.

4. Use of FPL Data

4.1. FPL Pro Leagues utilizes publicly available data from the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) API. By ​using our services, you agree to comply with the FPL terms and conditions, including any restrictions ​on the use of their data.

4.2. FPL Pro Leagues are independently operated leagues that use data from your FPL team to ​determine results. We do not claim any ownership of the FPL data and use it solely to enhance your ​FPL experience through our platform.

4.3. FPL Pro Leagues operates independently from the Premier League and its affiliates. Any ​commercial activities conducted by FPL Pro Leagues are not endorsed or sanctioned by the Premier ​League. By participating in FPL Pro Leagues, you acknowledge that the Premier League has the right to ​enforce its terms and conditions, which may include restrictions on the commercial use of their data.

5. Participation in Leagues

5.1. By joining FPL Pro Leagues, you agree to adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by each ​league you participate in.

5.2. League managers may set entry fees and prize pools, which must be clearly communicated to all ​participants prior to league commencement.

5.3. All fees collected are held in escrow and distributed according to the prize distribution set by the ​league manager.

6. Prizes

6.1. Prizes are distributed based on the performance of participants within each league. The prize ​structure is determined by the league manager and communicated to all participants.

6.2. FPL Pro Leagues is not responsible for any disputes regarding prize distribution. All decisions made ​by the league manager are final.

7. Conduct and Fair Play

7.1. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes fair play and ​sportsmanship.

7.2. Any form of cheating, collusion, or manipulation of results is strictly prohibited and may result in ​immediate disqualification and account termination.

8. Privacy

8.1. Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we ​collect, use, and protect your personal data.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. All content and materials on the FPL Pro Leagues platform, including text, graphics, logos, and ​software, are the property of FPL Pro Leagues or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other ​intellectual property laws.

9.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content or materials on ​our platform without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. FPL Pro Leagues is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either ​express or implied.

10.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FPL Pro Leagues shall not be liable for any indirect, ​incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our ​services.

11. Amendments

11.1. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be ​posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.

11.2. Your continued use of FPL Pro Leagues after any changes constitute your acceptance of the new ​terms and conditions.

12. Termination

12.1. We reserve the right to terminate your account and access to our services at any time, for any ​reason, without notice.

13. Governing Law

13.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of ​the United Kingdom.

14. Payment Processing

14.1. Payments for entry fees and prize pools are processed through Stripe. By using our services, you ​agree to comply with Stripe’s terms and conditions.

14.2. Refunds and chargebacks will be issued via Stripe to the card used for the original payment. No ​refunds will be provided except in cases where a league is canceled before it begins.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1. In the event of a dispute between users or between a user and FPL Pro Leagues, the parties shall ​first attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiation within 30 days of the dispute arising.

15.2. If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation, either party may seek to resolve ​the dispute through mediation or binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Chartered ​Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

15.3. Any legal action arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be brought ​exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.

16. Data Protection and Privacy

16.1. We collect personal data including name, email address, and FPL team ID to provide our services. ​This data is collected, used, and stored in compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection ​laws.

17. User-Generated Content

17.1. Users may post content on the platform, including chat messages. This content is moderated by ​the league chairman to ensure compliance with community standards.

17.2. Any content that violates our standards, including but not limited to harassment, cheating, or ​inappropriate behavior, may be removed, and the user may be subject to penalties, including account ​suspension.

18. Service Availability and Maintenance

18.1. We will inform users of scheduled maintenance or unexpected service outages via email.

18.2. No compensation will be provided for prolonged outages.

19. Protection Clause

19.1. By using FPL Pro Leagues, you acknowledge that while we use publicly available data from the ​Fantasy Premier League (FPL) API, FPL Pro Leagues operates independently of the Premier League. ​Any commercial activities conducted by FPL Pro Leagues are not endorsed or sanctioned by the ​Premier League. We respect the terms and conditions set forth by the Premier League and aim to ​comply with all relevant regulations. If any conflicts arise, participants agree to hold FPL Pro Leagues ​harmless and indemnify against any claims related to the use of FPL data for commercial purposes.

20. Acceptance of Terms

20.1. By using FPL Pro Leagues, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be ​bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our ​services.
