Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 2 Roundup
What a week it's been for the FPL Pro Leagues community! With an average score of 74 points—slightly over the global Fantasy Premier League average—our league continues to showcase the depth of talent among our managers. In fact, 70% of our community outscored the worldwide average, once again proving that we're home to some of the sharpest FPL minds around. As we dive into the details of Gameweek 2, let's highlight some standout performances and those performances some would rather forget!
Haaland's Triple Captain Triumph
Some of you took a brave step by playing the Triple Captain chip this early, and it absolutely paid off! Congratulations to All Starrs, Are you Shaw, and SKM's11 for making the bold move. Haaland's hat-trick racked up an incredible 51 points for these managers, giving them a fantastic head start this season. Well played!
A Shout Out to Ha Cunha Matata
A special mention goes out to Ha Cunha Matata, who managed to score a massive 101 points without even using the Triple Captain chip! Despite being let down by Muniz and Isak, who are still struggling to find form, the overall strength of your squad shone through. A great performance that deserves recognition—congratulations!
A Nod to Stew and the Shit Stick Award
Stew has once again claimed the Shit Stick award, his second of the season (not that we’re counting or trying to rub it in)! However, it was a close call this week, with Achilles Denton 2.0 scoring just 45 points, making a strong case to wrestle the stick away from Stew. Perhaps we should start calling him Achilles Denton 0.5?! Better luck next time.
LJH FC's Visionary Move
Finally, a shout-out to LJH FC for the inspired decision to include Noni Madueke in the lineup, which resulted in a whopping 20 points. With Palmer also in the mix, that's a 37-point haul from the Chelsea duo in a single game! It's just a shame that Nkunku couldn't add more to the tally. No prizes for guessing which team LJH supports—clearly, the Chelsea love runs deep!
What's Next?
There's no FPL Pro Leagues competitions this week so it's crucial to assess whether you'll stick with your current squad and go for glory or make some strategic transfers in readiness for the League Cup competition kicking off in GW4.

This week has been a reminder that in Fantasy Premier League, fortune favours the bold, but sometimes a steady hand and a bit of patience can be just as effective.
Good luck in Gameweek 3, and may your transfers be shrewd and your captaincy choices golden!
